Chi Gong Practice
Chi Gong can be literally translated as energy practice. It includes all kinds of internal and external forms that enhance the quality and increase the circulation of chi. It has two classifications, nei dan (internal) and wei dan (external forms) which enhance the quality and increase the circulation of Qi.
Tai Chi and 8 Treasures are sophisticated forms of Chi Gong. Simple Chi Gong is used during our warm up sessions and it is also emphasized in the Tai Chi-Chi Gong classes.
Chi Gong practice is beneficial because it promotes good health by facilitating the body's internal healing mechanisms and increases the production of white blood cells which enhance immunity and allows the body to function more efficiently.
